Mario Jahara is the founder of Jahara®, a profound structural bodywork teacher and author of two books in Zen Shiatsu, with a 20-year international career. He is a pioneering leader in the field of aquatic bodywork and has extensive training in a number of different bodywork and body awareness modalities. Mario’s approach to teaching and working with the body is based on one of the key concepts of Jahara®, which he defines as The Power of Gentleness. The Jahara® Program has become part of the Hydrotherapy Program at the Wingate Institute in Israel since 2000, and has established programs in Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, and Argentina under Mario’s leadership and team of teachers. Mario is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
